Hello and welcome to my blog!
I’m Amy and I am currently studying Msc Dietetics at Leeds Beckett University. Last summer I completed my BSc Nutrition (International) at the University of Leeds.
Nutrition as a topic has always interested me. The effects different foods can have on our body is more significant than I could have ever imagined when I started my degree. Nutrition is huge and new things are constantly being discovered with regards to health and fitness. In this blog I hope to share my knowledge as a nutrition graduate on all things health and fitness as well as giving you some great recipes along the way.
I am also a huge advocate for exercise and being active. I have always enjoyed sports and I am always trying out new ones. My fitness regime mainly consists of kickboxing, running and resistance training. But I am a big believer of doing what you feel like doing so sometimes I will go for a long walk, a swim or a spin class to mention a few.
Travelling has also become a big part of my life. I believe to be healthy you need good nutrition, enough exercise, and plenty of things that make you happy. Travelling ticks my happy box and so I try to do it as often as I can. My biggest trip so far has been to Australia where I studied for 1 year, and travelled lots. Hopefully this year I am going to travel more of Europe and I hope to keep you updated on everywhere I go and give you tips for when you go too!
